What Does a Trip With Us Look Like?

Maybe you have a trip booked with us for the 2022 season, or perhaps you're thinking about purchasing one!  Either way, it may be your first time on a guided fly fishing trip or first time with us, so here's what to expect!   Once the trip is purchased, we work with you to find a date that fits with your schedule as well as what offers quality fishing.  Where we guide, and what we guide for, depends on time of year, stream conditions, weather conditions, and what you hope to gain from the day. Our goal is to make your time on the water with us a productive, educational, and fun experience!

Part of that experience comes from having a thorough knowledge of the waters we guide as well as the expertise to accommodate anglers of all skill levels.  Our guides are well-versed in beginner trips where our guests are just breaking into the sport, as well as veteran anglers looking for a new challenge, technique, or fish species to master.  One of the things that furthers our commitment to a seamless experience is providing all of the gear!  If you're just getting into fly fishing, the initial price tag to enter the sport can be a little daunting.  Rods, reels, boots, waders, and flies can lead to a pricey shopping cart!  By supplying all of those things, we allow our guests to avoid that sticker shock and use quality equipment during the process. 

Communication between us and our anglers on upcoming trips is fairly constant.  We stay up-to-date on weather and stream conditions, as well as which waterways are fishing better than others.  We'll discuss certain geographic areas and what times of the year they fish best, but there are usually several options in the area so we can easily pivot from one to the other in the event the water is high, low, off color, or clear. Our goal is to make sure that prior to your trip with us you know exactly what to expect, what you need to be prepared for, and then with some fish cooperation the day is set!
