"I spent a couple of days recently with Nick DelVecchio of Wildwood Outfitters in hopes of learning some of the basics of fly fishing for trout in northwest Pennsylvania.  I’m very glad I did. I feel that I got a good introduction to the sport, much more so than if I had tried to get started on my own or relied on my friends for help. Nick is extremely knowledgeable on so many aspects of fly fishing. But it takes more than that to get the message across. His step-by- step approach to teaching the fundamentals gets you on the stream right away. There, he is focused on your technique from the start, and he talks you through the process until you get it right. He’s totally engaged at all times - when you miss a key element, he guides you through the correct steps to fix it. When you have success, he celebrates your achievements with you. He maintains a calm and patient manner throughout and makes the entire experience a very enjoyable one. I have recommend Wildwood Outfitters to my friends, and I look forward to learning more from Nick’s wealth of fly fishing knowledge in the future."
