Timing up the weather is critical right now, whether that be taking advantage of rain events or going in the early morning when the water is still cool. Those mornings have seen some decently strong sulphur hatches and even a few green drakes here and there! A combination of dry-dropper and nymph rigs are producing, and the most likely spots are areas that combine both depth and some current coming down into it. Those are classic summertime trout hotspots, and if you can find a fast, deep run odds are good there are a few trout hanging around nearby! Some hot flies from recent trips include:
