Wildwood Outfitters Blog and Fishing Report
Years ago, Jen was working as the Executive Editor at a Tight Loop magazine, and when she had the desire to write for a women's publication, she realized there wasn't one! Instead of this being a dead end, it was a new beginning as she launched DUN Magazine. DUN has since become a household name among outdoor periodicals and it's led to some well-earned accolades and distinctions for Jen. Southern Living named her "Southerner of the Year in Tennessee," Blue Ridge Outdoors distinguished her as one of "Six Women Who are Revolutionizing the World of Fly Fishing," and she serves on the Board of Directors for AFFTA and FFI, to name just of the few! Despite all of the honors and notoriety, Jen says that "it's still the every day woman angler who inspires me and deserves the credit for our amazing magazine." "Fly fishing is life to me." Fly fishing has changed Jen's life dramatically. It's about more than just chasing down anything that swims in saltwater or perfecting fishing for Asian Carp. Fly fishing is the way she makes money to live, and the quality of life it brings is immeasurable. When she started fly fishing 12 years ago, it set a course that would change the sport forever. Follow along with Jen as she fishes her favorite water, Kentucky Lake, and DUN Magazine on Instagram (@jen_ripple and @dunmagazine) , Facebook @JenRipple and @dunmagazine), and by visiting the DUN's website!
