An Important Announcement!!

This last week we posted a few pictures paying homage to "Public Lands Day" but we wanted to further the point a bit more. Everybody has a cause they are championing for these days, and for Wildwood Outfitters the two pillars of our guide service are protecting and respecting wild trout, and preservation of public land. Lucky enough, those two things go hand in hand more often than not.  ​

The ability to pursue finned creatures is often made possible because of land under state or Federal protection. National and state parks and forests provide anglers some truly incredible opportunities, and we don't take this privilege lightly. At Wildwood Outfitters we believe it's our duty to be caretakers of these areas and the fish that inhabit them for future generations so that they might have the same positive experiences we do. Therefore we have decided to donate 2% of our profits to Backcountry Hunters & Anglers for the work they do in defense of public land, and 2% of our profits to Trout Unlimited for the work they do for wild trout. 

It is important to be a part of the conservation community that does so much to enhance, preserve, and protect the resources that sportsmen cherish so dearly. For us moving forward, that means donating donating 4% of our profits to these two outstanding organizations!
