Two types of trips are offered at Wildwood Outfitters: the full day and the half day. Each is a little unique and which trip you decide upon really depends on what you want to achieve with your day! Lastly, Wildwood Outfitters is proud to offer a pickup service for wherever you may be! If you have a camp in Potter County and want to learn a little more about your local waters, our guides can come directly to you and start your day from there. TROUT SCHOOL!Not sure the guide trip is for you? Don't worry, there's another option! At Wildwood Outfitters we are excited to offer a professional fly fishing class. Using the lesson plans created by Trout Unlimited as a loose model, you will learn aspects of the following topics:
These topics, to be covered in detail, are followed by a delicious home cooked meal. After lunch/dinner the 6-ish hour class concludes with some on the water time to put what we learned into practice and sharpen some skills. Whether you are just starting out and want a solid foundation or you are looking to fine tune existing skills the fly fishing class can be a terrific opportunity to grow in the sport!
